Celebrating graduation - Gratuation ceremony 2016
On November 26th, 88 graduates convened for their graduation ceremony with guests and professors. Eight of them received an award of excellence - congratulations!
Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Sabine Hochholdinger welcomed the graduates and their families and friends as well as representatives of the Department. This year's lecture was held by Dr. Frederik G. Pferdt, Chief Innovation Evangelist at Google Inc. Headquarter.
This year's VEUK awards of excellence were awarded to:

- Daniel Allgäuer (MSc Mathematical Finance)
- Silke Zwick (MSc Mathematical Finance)
- Isabel Mayer (MSc Mathematical Finance)
- Björn Brey (MSc Economics)
- Julian Klotz (MSc Economics)
- Simon Stehle (MSc Economics)
- Anja Kathrin Seckinger (MSc Economics and Business Education)
Afterwards, this year's teaching price for junior scientists was awarded to:
- Frau Dr. Roxana Halbleib (née Chiriac)
- Herr Carl Georg Maier
- Frau Jana Mareckova
- Herr Marco Menner
Last, but not least, Simon Stehle held the graduate's speech.
