Master's Theses

Professor Dykstra supervises Master's theses for those wanting to write in fields related to her research. This includes, but is not limited to: behavioral economics, experimental economics, economics and policy, development economics, economics of poverty, household finance, artificial intelligence, and sustainable behavior.

She generally supervises theses that use empirical or experimental methods, as well as those writing systematic reviews or conducting surveys or interviews.

General guidelines can be found here. If you would like to discuss writing a thesis with her, please book office hours on her calendar here (if no office hours are available or none that fit your schedule, please email her directly). Come prepared with a general idea of what research topic(s) you might want to write about and what method(s) you might want to use.
