Prof. Dr. David Kenny will be presenting on "Mediation: Then and Now" via Zoom in a colloquium jointly organized by the Research Methods, Assessment, and iScience (Prof. Dr. Ulf-Dietrich Reips) and Methods for Intensive Data (Prof. Dr. Fridtjof Nussbeck) groups in the Department of Psychology.
Prof. Dr. David Kenny is a member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. In 2019 he received the American Psychological Association Award for Distinguished Scientific Contributions "for his outstanding contributions to both theory and methods for studying social perception and behavior.
His work has been highly influential in behavioral and social scientists' daily work: According to Google Scholar his paper on the moderator-mediator variable distinction (Baron & Kenny, 1986) is approaching 100'000 citations.
