Speaker:

The idea of a homogeneous German people (the "Volk") was at the heart of Nazi ideology. To achieve this ethnic homogeneity, the Nazis decided which citizens be part of the "Volk" and which should be excluded, persecuted and murdered. This ideology of inequality affected every aspect of life.
Within days of the Nazi 'seizure of power' in 1933, Dachau Concentration Camp was established as the 'model' for concentration camps in Germany. Over the course of two days, we will explore the history both at the Munich Nazi Documentation Centre and the Dachau Memorial.

Including:

  •  Seminar on the Nazi society if exclusion at the NS Documentation Centre Munich and seminar with guided tour on the Dachau Memorial Site.
  • One night in hostel in shared rooms (3-4 persons) incl. breakfast.

Pay your own travel costs to and from Munich (e.g. 49 Euro Germany train ticket, Flixbus) and extend your visit or arrive earlier.
