Welcome to the Chair for Applied Microeconomics!

The Chair of Applied Microeconomics works at the intersection of behavioral and public economics. Research projects deal with topics in the field of education, migration and labor economics. Special focus lies on questions regarding the origins and relevance of social cohesion in diverse societies (funded by the ERC Consolidator Grant 2021-2027, KIDSnGROUPS) as well as the role of beliefs, expectations, norms, and stereotypes for gender convergence.
