As Assistant Professor for Business and Economics Education, Stefanie Findeisen is interested in the design and effects of learning processes in vocational education – both with regard to prospective teachers at vocational schools and with regard to students or trainees.

Main research interests include:

-Development of professional competences of teachers
-Explaining and visualizing subject matter
-Design and evaluation of complex (digital) learning environments
-Instructional quality
-Transitions in the vocational education system (reasons for dropouts, fit)
-Modeling and measurement of competences
